Afro-Brazilian & Samba w/ Quenia Ribeiro
Experience the joy and rhythm of Brazil with Afro-Brazilian & Samba, a dynamic dance class led by Quenia Ribeiro as part of MLK Community Dance Day! Happening on January 20th, this class explores a range of Samba styles from Rio de Janeiro and Bahia, including Samba No Pé, Miudinho, Samba Reggae, and Samba Afro, while also highlighting Afro-Brazilian dances rooted in Angola, Congo, Benin, and Nigeria.
