  • I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Jean Andoche Loubaki, and I am the artistic director of the Mfouambila Kongo New York African dance company. Since our founding in 2015, we have been dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of African dance, music, and traditions.

In 2019, we had the incredible opportunity to perform in Brazzaville, Congo, where our ensemble left a lasting impression on the Congolese audience. The success of that performance has inspired us to continue our cultural exchange efforts. This year, from July 15th to 30th, 2024, we are organizing our third annual trip, during which participants will perform alongside Mfuabila el Brazza, collaborate with local artists, and immerse themselves in the vibrant Congolese arts scene.

To make this trip possible, we are seeking donations from generous individuals and organizations who share our passion for cultural exchange. Your support will directly contribute to:

    • Travel Expenses: ground transportation for our dancers and musicians.

    • Workshops and Rehearsals: Enabling participants to learn from local artists, refine their skills, and create meaningful connections.

    • Community Outreach: Engaging local audiences to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a significant impact. Here are a few ways you can support us:

    • Individual Donation: You can donate by sending to zelle (347)796-9821 or cashapp $12loubaki

    • Corporate Sponsorship: If your company believes in fostering cultural exchange, we welcome corporate sponsorships. Please reach out to us for more information.

    • Spread the Word: Share our mission with friends, family, and colleagues who may be interested in supporting our cause.

We deeply appreciate your consideration and commitment to promoting cultural diversity and artistic expression. Together, we can create lasting connections and celebrate the beauty of African heritage.

Thank you for being part of our journey. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please feel free to contact me directly at (347)796-9821.
